Nora sat on the remainder of the mess hall, deep in thought when someone walked in and lightly pet her head. At the touch, she tensed up, but relaxed after looking to see who it was.

"Hi hun," Jo smiled softly as she walked over to sit next to the younger witch, "How are you holding up?" Nora didn't give a verbal response and simply shook her head, keeping her gaze to the floor, "I know this must be... difficult for you. Everything is changing around us from what we knew, what we felt safe with. It's scary not knowing sometimes what will happen next. But, it's not always bad. Change can be a good thing sometimes. It may not look like it now, but I promise everything will be okay. Plus, if you ever start to miss this place or the people in it, my door's always open. I want you to remember that I'm here for you if ever you want to just talk."

Nora sat silently for a while before finally speaking, "It's Scanlaso..."

"... Um..."

"After your wedding, you asked if there was anyone I might like. And again, when I helped you make dinner once... It's Scanlaso... They're the person I have strong feelings for... I thought now would be a better time than any to tell you." once she looked up, she saw Jo wide eyed with her mouth open, probably from shock, "Um... Jo-?"

"AAAAAAAAHHHHHH!!!!" Jo leaped out of her seat, pulling Nora up with her and procceeded to spin around in excitement, "Oh my GOD!!! Nora, you finally told me! This is amazing, I'm so proud of you!" she stopped abruptly to hug the now dizzy Nora, then held her shoulders as she proceeded to ask questions, "When did this start? What's your age difference? How much time have you spent together? What about them do you find attractive? Have you told them about your feelings?"

Once Nora managed to regain her centre of gravity, she sighed, "There's no point now... Once the year ends, we'll all be going our separate ways... I may never get to see them again..."

"........ No. No no no no no no no no no no no! No. Don't think like that. I did not wait all this time for you to finally tell me who you like, only for nothing to happen between you two."

"But-"

"But nothing. Nora, hun, you really do like this person, right?" Nora nodded, "Then you need conquer whatever fears you have concerning this. It's true, you don't know if you'll ever see them again, but that should be motivation to tell them before it's too late. Because if you allow any opportunity to slip by, you may end up regretting it later on." Jo gave an encouraging smile, "But don't worry too much, remember that you have me to help. I'm going to make sure you two spend at least one night together. And, in that time, you need to tell them how you feel."
